Chisel, half-length, strong, with side chamfers according to BHL DIN 5140, with flattened hornbeam handle
»CHERRY« chisels are hand-forged from special tool steel with a high carbon content. With a hardness of ± HRc 61 over the entire useful length of the blade, they are far above the DIN standard and produce a smooth cut thanks to their smooth, polished surface. The chisels are delivered from the factory with a cutting edge angle of 25°. This angle is suitable for soft to medium-hard wood. We recommend sharpening the cutting edge of our chisels with a sharpening stone before using them for the first time.

To prevent corrosion or rusting, we recommend protecting the tools with an oil film after use or before long periods of non-use .
Before storing the tools, moisten the blade with a cloth soaked in oil (white oil or our item no. 3708000).
