Gouge, short, light, according to DIN 5142, inside bevel, with flattened hornbeam handle
»CHERRY« chisels are forged by hand from special tool steel with a high carbon content. With a hardness of ± HRc 61 over the entire useful length of the blade, they are far above the DIN standard and produce a smooth cut thanks to their smooth, polished surface. The chisels are delivered from the factory with a cutting edge angle of 25°. This angle is suitable for soft to medium-hard wood. We recommend sharpening the cutting edge of our chisels with a sharpening stone before using them for the first time.
