The »CHERRY« sculptor’s chisels are forged by hand from special tool steel with a high carbon content. With a hardness of ± HRc 61 over the entire useful length of the blade, they are far above the DIN standard and produce a smooth cut thanks to their smooth, polished surface. The chisels are delivered from the factory with a cutting edge angle of 17° and are sharpened ready for use. This angle is suitable for soft to medium-hard wood.

To prevent corrosion or rusting, we recommend protecting the tools with an oil film after use or before long periods of non-use .
Before storing the tools, moisten the blade with a cloth soaked in oil (white oil or our item no. 3708000).
